This company, based in New London, North Carolina was formed in 1997. It manufacturers a range of composite decking with styles rated best, better and good. Their Symmetry and Horizon decking (best) is capped on all sides. The "multi-tonal" colors give the look of natural wood. Symmetry has a low-gloss matte finish. Horizon has different wood grain finishes on top and bottom so each board be used either side up to provide a more natural, varied look. Fiberon's Paramount PVC decking is all PVC (vinyl) with no organic content, making it an Azek competitor and the style recommended for docks. Fiberon developed its own fastening system: the Phantom Universal Hidden Fastener (above left) is a strong polypropylene … black to make it hard to see. The pre-insured screw speeds installation. An alternative is Fiberon's Phantom GT Hidden Fastener (above right) made of coated stainless steel.
Fiberon products are available through most building supply centers and lumber yards. A section on the company's web site lets you enter your zip code to see dealers in a 25 - 100 mile radius. Photos on this page are from the Fiberon web site. https://www.fiberondecking.com
