Instructions and Note of Caution
Placing a stove, smoker, or fire pit on the PyroProtecto grill mat We do not recommend this. While the PyroProtecto material itself is rated to withstand heat up to 500 F, it is much too thin to be effective as insulation or a heat barrier. Heat can transfer through the material to the surface below.
Cleaning the Grill Mat Use soap or detergent and a soft cloth or sponge. Basically nothing will stick to the PyroProtecto surface, so an abrasive sponge or scrubber is not necessary, and may actually scratch the coating.
